The project included the replacement of existing center-hung and end zone scoreboards with state-of-the-art LED video boards, updated structural supports, and integrated branding elements.

The scope of work included:

  • Center-hung scoreboard installation – Fabrication and installation of a new multi-sided LED video display system suspended above the arena floor, providing improved visibility and dynamic content capabilities.

  • End zone scoreboard upgrades – Replacement of north and south end zone boards with larger, higher-resolution LED displays for enhanced live action, instant replays, and event graphics.

  • Structural and electrical integration – Engineering and installation of steel support frames, rigging systems, and upgraded electrical connections to power and control the new displays.

  • Branding and advertising panels – Fabricated aluminum panels, channel lettering, and logo elements incorporating UMass branding, illuminated with energy-efficient LED lighting.

  • Code and safety compliance – All work completed in accordance with structural, electrical, and public assembly safety standards.
